Division and Units


The Crime Prevention Unit is responsible for preparing and distributing crime prevention and awareness information, developing crime awareness programs, delivering crime awareness presentations, and analyzing crime data.

The Patrol Division is the most highly visible component of the department. The officers on patrol deliver dedicated service to the campus twenty four hours each day, seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days a year. The Motorcycle and Bicycle Units are part of the Patrol Division

The Special Operations Division is comprised of the K-9 Unit, Tactical Team, and Fleet Management Unit.

The Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for the preliminary investigation of crimes against persons and property.

The Administrative Services Division consists of Records, Lost and Found Property, Evidence, Training Unit, and Crime Prevention Unit.

The Security Card Access System (SCAS) is a campus-wide system that allows people to use their Buzz Card to access various buildings on campus.
