The Georgia Tech Office of Emergency Preparedness works to mitigate and prepare for disasters by developing plans to address the threats and risks that exist on campus.
GT Emergency Action Plan
The purpose of the Georgia Institute of Technology Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is to establish policies, procedures, and an organizational structure for response to emergencies. Download the GT EAP.
GT Emergency Response Guidebook
The newly created GT Emergency Response Guidebook is a quick reference guide that instructs students, faculty and staff on the immediate actions to take during various emergencies on campus. The Guidebook is being offered online so anyone can print a copy for quick and easy reference during an emergency. Beginning in January, a print version will also be available for purchase through GT Printing & Copying Services. The Guidebook is not meant to replace existing campus emergency plans, but to provide easier access to the information, in a short quick reference format.
The Redbook is a template that building managers and other building occupants can use to develop an emergency response plan specifically for their facility.
